IBS 2026 Recap: Three Days Of Momentum And Protection In Action
February 19, 2026
This week, Team Axiom spent three full days at the NAHB International Builders’ Show, marking a great first time exhibiting at the show.
Stepping onto the show floor as exhibitors brought a new level of focus and excitement. Instead of attending, we were there to showcase the latest in our temporary surface protection innovation. From setup to close, the energy stayed high and the conversations were fantastic.
It was great to come together with decision makers who are actively looking for practical, jobsite-ready solutions to keeping their jobsites damage-free and looking good.
Day 1: Adapting Quickly

The week opened with a challenge. Our main booth shipment was delayed, which meant shifting gears and putting Plan B into place.
Within hours, we had a temporary setup ready and were back to connecting with builders and distribution partners. By the end of the day, the full booth had arrived and was fully installed. What could have slowed the momentum instead demonstrated how adaptable and solutions focused our team is.
Even with the early curveball, conversations were steady from the start.
Day 2: Increased Traffic + Broader Conversations

With the full booth in place, Day 2 carried a different level of energy.
Traffic increased by approximately 16 percent based on our measurements, and the pace held throughout the day. We had productive discussions with national and regional builders, distribution partners, and companies operating in remote island regions focused on high end luxury and hospitality resort projects.
Those conversations aligned closely with a project we are currently supporting in the Cayman Islands (more details to follow soon!).
It was a clear reminder that surface protection is not limited to one market. On premium builds, especially those involving high value finishes, the demand for reliable protection is consistent across regions.
Day 3: A Strong Close

Day 3 wrapped up a busy and productive week.
Across three days, we had hundreds of conversations with builders, developers, and partners from across North America. We also met many new companies ready to elevate their approach to temporary surface protection.
From single site residential builds to multi region rollouts, the message remained consistent. Construction professionals want purpose designed solutions that help them save time, protect margins, and maintain a clean, professional jobsite.
That is exactly where we focus.
Why In-Person Demonstrations Matter

IBS continues to highlight one important truth: seeing products in person changes the conversation.
Spec sheets and website photos provide information, but hands on experience builds confidence. When builders can feel material thickness, test adhesion, and see how quickly a product installs and removes cleanly, the benefits become clear.
Throughout the show, we featured both well established products and newer additions to our lineup. Visitors saw firsthand how our systems protect floors, glass, elevators, finished fixtures, and other high value surfaces while keeping projects moving efficiently.
Live demonstrations led to deeper discussions around reducing rework, managing tight timelines, addressing labor challenges, and protecting increasingly premium materials.
When protection is integrated into the workflow, projects run more smoothly and risk is reduced.
Clear Industry Priorities
A consistent theme emerged throughout the week. Builders are looking for solutions designed specifically for construction environments.
They want products that install quickly, remove cleanly, withstand jobsite conditions, and contribute to a professional presentation. With rising material costs and higher client expectations, preventing damage remains more cost effective than repairing it.
IBS provided the opportunity to demonstrate exactly how our systems support that goal.
Strengthening + Building Partnerships

Beyond the product conversations, one of the most valuable outcomes was relationship building.
We reconnected with long time customers who rely on Axiom across multiple projects and spoke with distribution partners exploring expanded offerings. We also engaged with developers planning larger scale implementations across several regions.
These discussions extend beyond a single order. They represent ongoing partnerships focused on consistent protection standards from project to project.
If we connected at Booth S6128, thank you for taking the time to stop by. If you have not yet heard from our team, you will soon.
Looking Forward
Three days on the show floor reinforced why IBS remains such an important event for our team.
It brings together decision makers who prioritize quality, efficiency, and reputation. It allows us to demonstrate products in real time and gain insight into the challenges builders are facing right now.
Most importantly, it confirms that temporary surface protection is a strategic component of delivering projects on time, on budget, and damage free.
We are grateful for every conversation this week and look forward to continuing them well beyond the show floor.
